Ginkgo Tincture (50ml) -good for improving memory and mental clarity
Product Information
Ginkgo Tincture (50ml)
Ginkgo is used for improving memory and mental clarity. Ginkgo biloba is a Chinese herb often used as a dietary supplement to treat memory loss. Ginkgo contains a large number of bioflavonoid compounds with proven ability to neutralise free radicals. Researchers found significant improvement in verbal recall among a group of people with age-associated memory impairment, who took the herbal supplement ginkgo biloba for six months, when compared with a group that did not. A recent World Health Organization review of Ginkgo’s efficacy in tackling dementia (Monographs on selected medicinal plants: Folio Ginkgo) noted that: ''In clinical studies Gingko Biloba has effectively managed symptoms of cerebral insufficiency, including difficulty in concentration and memory, absent-mindedness, confusion...''.
Ginkgo extract has been used extensively in Europe for dementia, and was recently formally approved for this use in Germany. The Ginkgo Tincture made by Paul Richards helps improve memory and mental clarity for both short term and long term. It's very natural, yet simple and easy to use.
How to use Tinctures: Tinctures are best taken around mealtimes and mixed with water or fruit juice. Some can have a slightly bitter taste, and orange juice is particularly effective in masking this. Some natural settlement commonly occurs with certain tinctures: this is entirely harmless and can be shaken in before use. If a clearer tincture is preferred, storing in a fridge can help to hold any sediment at the bottom and reduce flecking of the tincture taken. Adding tinctures to hot fluid reduces alcohol content, but it’s worth pointing out that the amount involved when taking tinctures is small.
NOTE: persons taking blood-thinning drugs, including daily aspirin, should not take Ginkgo without consulting a healthcare professional. Those taking regular over-the-counter painkillers should consult a healthcare professional before taking Ginkgo
