Postlethwatte's  Organic Dandelion & Burdock is an internal cleanser for people who suffer from Gout, Eczema, Psoriasis and Acne. It flushes the toxins out of your body and allows your body to regain its balance.

Dandelion is a bitter-sweet, cooling herb that has diuretic, laxative, and anti-rheumatic effects, stimulates liver function, improves digestion, and reduces swelling and inflammation. It was first described in Chinese medicine AD659 and in European medicine in 1485. Promoted by Arab physicians in the 11th century and mentioned by the physicians of Myddfai (Wales) in the 13th century, it became an "official" drug by the 16th century.  The French call it pissenlit , meaning "wet-the-bed"!

Burdock has been used for centuries as a blood purifier clearing the bloodstream of some toxins, and as a diuretic (helping rid the body of excess water by increasing urine output), and as a topical remedy for skin problems such as acne, eczema, rosacea and psoriasis.

Ingredients:

50% fresh organic Dandelion (Taraxacum officinate) tincture (1:1.33 w/v in 25% ethanol), 50% fresh organic Burdock (arctium lappa) tincture (1:33 w/v in 25% ethanol)

Extra Information:

This tincture is made by Paul Richards who has been growing medicinal plants for nearly 20 years. The herbs are grown organically in the beautiful Welsh border country of West Herefordshire. Herbs are harvested in peak condition, carefully chopped, and infused in organic grain alcohol. He puts 1kg of herb in 1.33 litres of alcohol is the maximum concentration normally
