Paul Richards Organic Chickweed Balm is excellent for treating skin irritations, including eczema, especially when there is itchiness, available in size 30g and 60g

Chickweed is also named "Stellaria Media",. Stellaria comes from the latin Stella, "star", referring to the star-shaped flowers. Chickweed has been used as a healing herb for centuries. It is a soothing, cooling, slightly saline herb that relieves itching, promotes healing, and has alternative, anti-rheumatic effects. Therefore, internally, it can be used for rheumatism and chest infections; externally, it can be used  for itching skin conditions, eczema, psoriasis, vaginitis, urticaria, ulcers, boils, and abscesses.

Certified by the Soil Association, this organic Chickweed Balm is wonderful for eczema or itchy skin sufferers. This is a very pure product made of all the best organic ingredients with no water phase and no preservatives. Thus, as long as it is stored in a cool dark place, it can last for a long period of time. Used with the same herbal combinations as the original Paul Richards Organic Chickweed Ointment, the organic Chickweed Balm has been formulated with a softer base that spreads much easier than the ointments.

If you prefer something softer in texture, you may want to try the Earthbound Organic Chickweed and Calendula Cream.

For a fast and better result, we recommend taking an internal cleanser as well as using the ointment. The internal cleansers we recommend are the Soil Association certified organic Postlethwatte's Organic Dandelion & Burdock tincture and the alcohol-free Gotu Kola Herbal Liquid Extract.
